Kidd to the Lakers...still a possibility so should we want him?
Now that its close to being a definite that the big 3 in Jersey are breaking up, there are still talks of the Lakers trading for Kidd. Kidd would give us a good 3-4 more years. Do we need him? Or do we go after an offensive point guard like Mo Williams? Potentially we could trade Kwame's expiring contract for Ron Artest and Bynum for Kidd. Would a team of Turiaf, Kobe, Artest, Odom and Kidd give us championship material?
Answers:
>go for a solid big man like KG or pau gasol.cuz that's what's needed in the playoffs..it will also take alot of attention away from kobe and the lakers would have an unstoppable 1-2 punch.
>get a point guard like kidd or bibby.either one of them is still considered a good move.kidd still has something left in the tank and mike bibby is looking to refresh his career.
>forget artest..he might just destroy the team.i'd rather have odom than artest.besides odom is more versatile.
Can you give the Jazz some credit?
no hes getting oldWhen does the NBA select the MVP?
that would be fine. the lakers is in need of a very good point guardDo you think the combo of Booze and D-Will can be better than Mailman and Stock? Why or why not?
You don't want J-Kidd. He'll give you about two more years and he won't help the team that much. He's a good passer and defender but he can't shoot at all. He wont help kobe and you'll need to give up too much to get him.NBA tix at original price for 07-08?
If we have to give up Bynum, then no. Kidd's old, Bynum's a prospect, don't give up Bynum unless you're guaranteeing a good big man.Did i just see snoop at the warriors game or was i trippin?
No. In any deal, to acquire such a large salary, the lakers would have to give up Lamar Odom. For the Lakers, if they make any deal involving Odom, they should try to do everything in their power to get a big man, ala Kevin Garnett. I just don't see a Jason Kidd and Kobe Bryant tandem ever working without another component (like odom) but they'd have to include him in any deal to make it match. But a Garnett and Bryant one could definately work (refer to Shaq and Kobe)In the end, how much money did the New York Knicks pay Allan Houston after he retired?
they would make the playoffs as a higher seed but the suns/mavericks/spurs are still better. By the time those team falter and get old the Blazers, Sonics and Jazz will have taken over. The lakers waited to long to make a major move, should have done it a year or two ago.Who gets sick at the prospect of a Pistons/Spurs NBA Finals?
Well.think this combination should be good with Kidd as the play maker and Odom as rebounder and Kobe and Artest as the scorer. At least Artest is there to serve as a replacement for Kobe. Dun you feel that Lakers without Kobe the offense is harmless.Which nba team fans cry the most?
Why not he would help out kobe but i have also been hearing you could go after bibby so you never know. But i think you need to go out and get a better center more possibly O'neal or Gasol. But that would be a great trade and could have a good chance at a championship.Who is the better player? Odom or Marion?
yes, definitely. As you would notice, point guards don't matter by age, it's all about experience and bball iq.
take for example stockton, before he retired, his numbers hadn't changed that much.
jason kidd doesn't need to run, because the Triangle Offense is not a running play.
i think artest would not be a good fit for the T. O.
how about this? Kidd, Kobe, Walton, Nocioni (will it happen? ), and Brown.
i hope it helped.. =)
