You are unlikely to get many sources for the answers to this question, as it is somewhat speculative. But the core to the answer is that men's basketball is a sport where often the most successful players believe that basketball is the way out of their family's circumstance. Too many players go to college with the expectation, often false expectation, that they will make the NBA and as a result they don't need to take school as seriously. Women's basketball, on the other hand, despite the WNBA has a much lower expectation of being able to make money playing ball as a pro, and even if the player does go pro she is not as likely to make enough money to retire permanently as a result of playing.Despite this, the graduation rate of players is usually higher than the graduation rate of the general student population. This is why I find the NCAA's attempt to regulate graduation rates to be ridiculous. If the general student graduates only 30% of the time within 5 years, why should anyone be surprised that the basketball players only graduate 70% within 5 years?
well probably because they bolt for the nba instead of finishing their education. cant really blame them though. i dont have any links, it's just common sense.
Where can i download videos with nba teams?
Because many players on mens college basketball teams leave school early and enter the NBA draft. The chances of the male bballer stayin for 4 years is unrealistic given the lure of NBA millions. Or some dont finish college for behavioral reasons, ect.
One day this may become common in womens basketball, if there is a player that garners that type of attention!
