What is the eazyer position in nba and the harder?
12 and 5:10? That's really nice, here are some tips for dunking...If you're going to jump with one foot try this,
-If you use your right hand jump off your left foot
-If you use your left hand jump off your right foot
-Look at how the pros dunk and try to copy their form
-If you have big hands, which is awesome, you could palm the ball so that part is taken care of
-If you don't have big hands then try slamming the ball so your hands will grab the rim.
If you want to play more of a Center type than you might try that 2 feet jump. I think that 2 feet jump is higher while using 1 foot is going a farther length. And remember, if you want to go highest and farthest try to get a running start. Other than that you should be able to dunk easily.
Almost forgot, any leg excersises will help you jump higher
-Running
-Just jumping up and down
-Even Hurdling
-Leg Stretches
All of those will help, hope I helped.
Do you like K-State?(Kansas State)?
you got a way to go... only advice I will give is to keep active I dont workout or anything for jumping I just play alot of basketball and gradually my verticle has been gettin better. From december to now I went from barly one hand to throwing down 2. Just the more you play the more you will relize your elevation. You have to strengthen your legs. Jumping power is almost all glutes, quads, and hammies...not calves like most people think. Squat like no tomorrow...squat heavy with low reps. Jumping high is a quick, high power movement. So squatting 5 sets of 12 is going to do nothing but hurt your vertical. At the same time, you have to keep up your speed training...for you, you can just keep playing ball and that should be enough.
Different people jump better off 1 or 2 feet. J-Rich is a great jumper, but he does it better off 2 feet...just look at his dunks when he won the dunk title. Kobe is great at jumping off both 1 and 2 feet. So, you need to figure out which way you jump better.
