Does an up-tempo style like the phoenix suns hold up against the half court offense?
in the playoffs and in the nba finals, the level of defense is way up high so does the up-tempo style of gameplay win an nba title?

Pistons coach Flip Saunders probably will never get credit for being a great defensive coach?
It doesn't but it still can. Their post up defense is a real problem. Amare is very good but he should not be guarding Duncan or post up offensive players. Nash is useless at Defense. He is a liability but you take the good with the bad. There style is high scoring which is great until they play teams that are good and play great defense. If they had a better defense your talking dynasty otherwise it ends too soon. The Coach's strategy is fun and exciting to watch but it doesn't seem to lead to championships.Only if Phoenix can force turnovers, but that means that they have to play defense, which they don't. Because San Antonio is so disciplined on defense Phoenix will hardly ever have someone open to shoot 3's like they are so used to doing. Amare Stoudemire must respect the pick and roll in the half-court offense because Tony Parker can shoot the mid-range, penetrate and dish. And you help out that means leaving Finely, Horry, Ginobli, or Bowen open for 3's and that spells trouble for Phoenix. Without turnovers on defense, Phoenix is relying on missed shots with their mediocre defense. Good luck with that.
