The best NBA player is by far Kobe Bryant. Lots of fans may not like Kobe, but he's the one player in the league that can completely dominate a game by himself. He will not win the MVP because of the lack of supporting cast that the Lakers provide him with. It defenitely SHOULDN'T go to Dirk Nowitzki. He is by far the most overrated player in the league. It should be a three peat for Steve Nash.

I hope Steven Nash will get it again this year. He's not the best player but he knows how to bring the best of everyone in his team. He embodies what an MVP should be.

The best is most likely Kobe Bryant, but it's obvious he won't get an MVP and may never win MVP unless he's on a championship contending team.

Kobe's got the most talent and i believe the most important player for the Lakers, but the MVP should clearly go to Steve Nash. Nash is the motor for the Suns and though i think they are good without him, they are not nearly as fun to watch or dominant when he's on the bench (whereas the Lakers lose even when Kobe goes for 48 minutes).

The other guy people have been pushing for MVP is Dirk, but he's overrated as you can see in the playoff opening round. Dirk could have won if the Mavs swept GS, but they're in a position to lose, so screw Dirk and his cocky Dallas team.
