Only one team can beat the Spurs!?
The MAVERICKS! Thats right, the Spurs will go all the way again this yr as much as i hate to admit it and win again. I know they're boring, they've done it all before but theres nothing we can do now. I hate them even more then when the Lakers were winning their championships.

I completely agree. I was rooting for the Suns, but even before the playoffs started I knew they were screwed because of the seedings. In my opinion their only chance was for the Mavs to beat the Spurs first (like last year) and then I believe with Stoudemire they could've handled the Mavs (would have been difficult but possible in my opinion).I also agree that it's over. The Spurs will win the whole thing.
I have a lot of respect for Jerry Sloan (the fact that he's never won Coach of the Year is a far worse crime than Stoudemire's suspension) and he's one of the few coaches in the league that will not be outcoached by Gregg Popovich. But seriously the Jazz will be lucky to win a game against the Spurs. Sloan simply does not have anywhere near as good of a team that Popovich has. Did you watch that Game 5 against Golden State? You can't seriously tell me that they looked impressive, can you? The Jazz had something like 25 turnovers and were only saved by the fact that the Warriors didn't have anyone who could rebound the basketball. That won't be the case with Tim Duncan back there. (I take it you are a Mavericks fan, so I'll try not to open the bitter wounds too much, but the Warriors simply do not have a good basketball team and that's why the Jazz won.) Also, on a worse note, the Jazz two best players are PG Deron Williams and PF Carlos Boozer. Well it just so happens that the Spurs have better players at those two positions as well.

Actually I think the Pistons have a pretty good chance. If they can somehow contain Duncan, then the Pistons can beat them. However, without Ben Wallace, I don't think anyone can hold their own against Duncan while at the same time cutting off help from Ginobli and Parker.You always hate the team that's better, and the Spurs unquestionably are. They beat you so many ways, as they proved to us all tonight. The Spurs are and will be the best team in the NBA until Duncan passes his prime. The Mavs could have given them a tough time, but seeing as how they couldn't get past an 8 seed, they didn't deserve the opportunity to.
actually the only team that can beat SA is the team of "refs" on the court for their games. If they'd ever call a fair game (not in the spurs favor), then the spurs will go down.

As if the spurs can't also beat the mavricks. ha. . Did you watch the playoff series last year btwn spurs and mavs? Every game except for one was close and came down to the wire. If the mavs are so superior to the spurs why did it take them 7 games to beat the spurs after they were up 3-1? Every time these two teams play its close.The only team left that can beat the spurs in this final four is the pistons. It will be a great nba finals for those who enjoy watching good defensive basketball teams.

The Pistons can beat the Spurs. They have won the championship before, they play great defense, they play solid balanced offense, they have a solid bench, they are well coached, they make fewer turnovers than any team in the league, they can win on the road anywhere ( including at Dallas and at Phoenix this year) and they are focused. If the Mavericks are the only team that can beat the Spurs, then the Spurs ARE in trouble since the Mavs are no longer in the playoffs. You can bet the Pistons will be looking forward to playing the Spurs again to exact revenge for their previous series loss.You IDIOTS that say the mavericks couldn't beat them. That is LAUGHABLE. It would have been nice to see the suns win, but they got screwed out of 2 games (one the spurs fault, one not).And all those guys making fun of the mavs for losing that first round matchup (yeah, I was one of them and I really dont' like the mavs), you know what, I don't care who that was, even if it was the spurs, I think the way golden state was playing, they would have beaten anyone. Spurs, suns, mavs, wouldn't have mattered, they played like they had nothing to lose and they had all the confidence in the world.
