I don't believe that the Spurs won due to dirty playing and definitely not the refs helping them. Realistically, this was probably the most entertaining/intense matchup of the NBA Playoffs. With such a big game alot of emotion is all over the court. Unfortunately the Spurs did make some moves that I'm sure they do regret and fans, like myself, wish didn't happen.And as far as bad calls go: I can only think of one this past game where Stoudamires foot wasn't out. Not all calls refs make are perfect and there clearly wasn't one team that was favored by refs and no specific call decided the outcome of the series.
Just my opinion and am quite ashamed of a few decisions that Bowen and Horry made that made the fans of the NBA think of the Spurs as a dirty team. A few bad decisions in an intense game is all that happened. All in all, a very entertaining series that might have been the best matchup in the playoffs. Just my 2 cents. =)

all fan loyalty aside...no the refs didn't just give the spurs the victories, they earned it...they're the top seed in a conference that's mostly known for offense...they have the best defense in the league..sure they're were definitely some questionable plays and unlikeable calls, but it is the playoffs, if you can't take it, don't watch. now, i was rooting for Phoenix, but even i understand that Duncan does spark the defense, and crowds the lane, and makes it hard for even Nash to penetrate...so congrats Spurs, but don't get comfortable, even when San Antonio wins the championship, guaranteed, the Suns will be back in the Conference Finals next seasonI am not a fan of the spurs or suns but yes the refs handed the series to the spurs on a silver platter. The suns had no chance in game 5 without stoudamire, and they were so tired tonight due to playing extra minutes in game 5.
