Dirk Nowitski is the new MVP. How do you feel?
Question:I still think it should have went to Steve Nash. He played better this year than in the last 2 seasons, when he won MVP Honors. The only reason he didn't win this year is because the NBA commitee was afraid of what people would think if a "B-List" Superstar did the same thing as "legends" like Larry Bird, Wilt Chamberlain, & Bill Russell. (They were the only players ever to win the MVP Award 3 years in a row.)
This is like a conspiracy! Steve Nash was the clear-cut winner in any basketball bluff's mind and the award goes to Dirk Nowitski, who is an outstanding player, but, COME ON! You shouldn't even be able to consider supporting an upset like this!
Oh, well! At least the Suns are on their way to a Championship! (and that's all that really matters, right?) The Suns can sweep the Lakers & beat the fatigued winner of the Spurs-Nuggets contest (which is likely to go to 7 games!) After that, the Suns-Mavericks Matchup will surely go to the Suns in 6 games! They can beat Det. 2!

I completely agree. Nash should win MVP this year again. Why? Because he is having another career year while Dirk Nowitzki's numbers have gone down? How is Dirk the favorite this year but Nash is doing a lot better in comparision to last year. Dirk has gotten a little worse. And by the way. I do think that Nowitski is pretty good and he's basically the only main force against the Warriors. But yeah I think youre right...Steve Nash is better. His play raises the whole playing level of his team (since when was Leandro Barbosa so good?). His assists are what give his teammates points, not to mention he can definitely score too.If Agent Zero was healthy, man it would've been no competition. But on a realistic note, Steve Nash should've gotten it, I guess they are trying to single him out. Maybe because he isnt a 50 point scorer and they got tired of him winning the MVP.
