Suns game today is a perfect example why kobe should shoot more?
Kobe tried being a team player and passed the ball so many times and his crappy players couldnt knock down nothing, he shouldve went for 50 today they wouldve at least been close by 10 or 15, suns fans are arrogant mavs are gonna own them again just like last year.

Yeh, ur right but basketball is better to watch when the ball is moving. thats why the suns are one of the best teams in the playoffs. Lakers need a player that is a good passer like steve nash from suns and billups from pistons. If lakers have a player like this they will be a great team. Kobe is a great player but his team mates need to be more aggressive. They have one of the greatest coaches and i still think lakers can beat the suns, but they need a miracle!Will the nba voters change their mind for mvp now that mavs are almost out?
Right now, Kobe has no choice but to play ball hog and shoot more. He simply cannot rely on his teammates to deliver like last year (although their performance last year is because of Amare's absence better than anything else)He should go and target at least 40 pts from now on..

I believe that Kobe is the best player in the NBA today.But he just hurt his own team today by not taking shots.
He takes about 23 shots per game, but only took 13 today.
If he doesn't take those 23 shots per game, expect a sweep
by the Suns.
He shot the ball a lot during the first game and they lost. it really doesn't matter.they just are not good enough to play with the Suns. I don't think Kobe can do it by himself either.

It's true the lakers are one of the most hopeless teams minus kobe. But they'd probably do better if they traded Kobe for two other team- minded players, like say Barbosa and Tony Parker. It would be fair to say, maybe the rest of the lakers shoot so bad becoz kobe doesn't give them enough shots consistently. Something is badly wrong with the team when one guy can score over 40 and you still lose. Certainly the 76ers were better off without A.I.I'm not sure about the mavs. Looks like they'll have to scrap it out to 6 or 7 against GS. And obviously the Suns now have Amare which makes a huge difference. It was a testimony to Nash they did so well without a big presence in the paint last year. The tough one for the Suns isn't goin to be the mavs it has to be either the nuggets or the Rockets. They have the sickest route to the finals. I guess the consolation being that whichever team from the west gets there has already won. Anticlimatic. How sad that Wade is nowhere near his best.

I agree Kobe should shoot more, It's just that he should get a better shot selection like earlier in this season.After watching the game tape again and again (ugh!), Lakers don't have someone who can rebound the ball well except Lamar Odom. They just kept giving offensive rebounds.
I really dunno why y'all kept claiming that Kwame Brown is better than Chris Mihm. Chris Mihm got a better jump hook. Kwame Brown is faster because he used to be a PF.
