If your talking about the best player in the league now in his prime it would by no doubt whatsoever be the one and only Allen Iverson. Big Arostotle (Shaq) would be second on the list, followed by Manu Ginobli.
Derrick Fisher, the most underrated player in the NBA (since like 2000) would belong in the Top 20, if not the top ten. I'm not even that big of a Jazz fan! He was the reason the Lakers won all those Championships, but he was unfortunately overshaddowed by Shaq & Kobe. At that time, he was more important to his team than Kobe, but he didn't have a household name like Bryant did, even though he deserved one. I hope his daughter's doing OK and I hope they tear the Spurs in half after they (SA) were basically given the win in the series against the Suns.

Well, one player probably can't do jack in a game by himself. Lebron is amazing cause he got one of the worst "supporting casts" and he is still winning, unlike somebody in LA who got great support, which he refused to recognize, and lost! So Lebron is probably whom I would want if I had to pick one player but Lebron, Tim Duncan, Carlos Boozer, Dwayne Wade, and Steve Nash is my NBA first team. These guys can work together unlike that sh!t list from David Stern. They aren't the best sequentially, but they are the best productively, 1x1x1x1x1.How far will the golden state warriors go?

I say Tim Duncan--he's the most fundamentally sound palyer in the game today. I could also argue for LeBron or D. Wade or Nash. While I think Kobe is extremely gifted, I don't think he's a sound leader. If he can lead the Shaq-less Lakers further in the playoffs next year, I'll change my mind.Without a doubt it would be Tim Duncan. He has consistently averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds over his career. He has also won three championships, been named league MVP twice, and has been on the all NBA 1st team 9 times. The Spurs have been one of the highest win percentage teams in all of professional sports since Duncan was drafted. There really is no one else who could be considered the best right now.
