Although i didnt at all like some of the calls or the dirty play by certain spurs players, i wouldnt say they were cheated. There isnt a conspiracy in the league to get the Spurs past the Suns. I disagree with the Stoudemire/Diaw suspensions and the lack of suspensions on Duncan/Bowen, but theres nothin we can do. The suns are an awesome team and will definitely be a contender next year. I do think though that officials and league administrators should look much more closely at certain Spurs, Bowen in particular. Its one thing to play rough and tug jerseys and stuff, but Bowen consistently tries to injure players, not just start shi-it. Sticking your foot under a guy when hes coming down is extremely dangerous and could lead to career ending injuries. I wouldnt say they were cheated but i understand where ur comin from and i woulda liked to see the suns advance.

Absolutely not. All professionals know the rules the league has set and if they dont, they shouldnt be playing. Amare and Boris both jumped off the bench and were suspended for it. The rules are rules. Stu Jackson said that when they announced the suspensions. And really had they not blown the lead they had in game 5 the series might still be going. they cheated themselves if they got cheated at all, the precedent for a ruling in cases like this was set long ago... I personally dont think they were going to beat SA anyway...and I think its garbage a guy gets MVP twice in a row, considered for a third and has never led a team into his conf. finals...The problem with the rule is that there is no margin for human emotion, which is an integral part of any human endeavor. You don't have 10 computers playing a game... you have 10 real people. Therefore, their actions cannot be interpreted solely based on letters. Let me apply an example. If I drive my car on the highway with the "intention" of going somewhere, I am not responsible if someone on the side of the road jumps into my path with the intention of comitting suicide. A judge would need to rule on the issue and find my actions without criminal intent. If I used the same vehicle and ran that person over while they sat in their front lawn while watching the sunset; that would be Murder 1. All laws are subject to basic interpretation, any person with basic education would understand that.
