i am for the most part a lakers fan, and live in Southern California, and i have learned never to count te lakers out if they have kobe... But i turned it on right before halftime, and just said, Wow, 21 points and counting. If the lakers got a 60 point performance from kobe, a deeper bench, another star that can score, and a shutdown defensive center, then they might, keyword might beat the suns beacuse if you shut down nash in comes barbosa, and there is no way you can shut down all 5 positions unless( this is the only way the lakers have a shot), someone just blows up the court, and hope that the laker D league team is better than the suns.
but the east has no chance, as without ben wallace, the pistons lose defensive toughness, which is the only way to beat the suns as no team, save for perhaps the mavs or nuggets can keep up with them offensively, and no team can stop the suns, spurs, mavs if they only bring their B game, and they cant beat the nuggets if they bring their A game. WEST IN 4!

I think whoever wins the West wins it all. I think it will be Detroit in the East vs the Mavs, Suns or Spurs, I just hope the Spurs and Mavs die a horrible death in the playoffs.
