Better chance of making nba?

Question:a 6'10 lamar odom type player, players sf, all positions, fast, and good handles, and a good shooter
or
a seven foot, kevin garnett type player with the athletism, and basketball moves as kg, and has range to 3 point

Answers:

When do they announce the NBA MVP? (For 2007)?

seven foot, because if you are already that athletic, there should be less of a learning curve to defend on the low post. Also, getting a presence in the paint is easier, you don't have to always depend on pure shooting.

Shooting is always different in the NBA than college, and i am not just talking about the 3-point line. There are many good defenders, and sometimes the player has to realize he cannot just shoot all the time, but take it from the high post to the basket.

Who will be the NBA champions?

I'd definitely have to say the 6'10" guy, but I have a better chance than both of them combined. Okay, not really, but I wish I did.

Who do you think is going to the second round of the NBA playoffs?

Both types of players would be lottery picks if they had even decent college careers. Just based on their physical talent alone.

I would say it's about even, but in the draft size is king, the 7 footer would get picked ahead.

Do you think the CAVS will beat the 76ers on tuesday?

I would say the 6'10" guy because he could shoot from anywhere, could score on fast break plays, and could dish out assists if he had to . That would a very dangerous player

Who will win today warriors or jazz (details please)?

I think you're describing two players that are pretty much the same. If you have the range to shoot 3's, you're probably a good shooter, and if you're athletic and have good moves, you're probably fast and have the handles needed to pull off those good moves. Looks like height is about the only difference. I'd take the seven footer. Next time compare a point guard like Steve Nash to a guy like Kevin Garnett. Then there are some real comparisons.
