Some people hate The Lakers for the same reason they hate the Yankees, Notre Dame, & the Cowboys. Because they are simply the best, most successful organizations in their sports and have strong national (& international) followings. Even though the Boston Celtics have 16 rings to the Lakers 14, The Lakers organization build FOUR completely different teams (George Miken's teams in the '50's =5 rings, Wilt & West, 70's = 1 ring, Magic, Kareem, Worthy/Wilkes , 80's = 5 rings, Shaq & Kobe, New Mil = 3 rings). Boston's build 3 champs, great, but nothing for the last 20 years.Don't hate, appreciate.

It is not the best team right now, but history proves that the Lakers are the greatest team. Their legacy is untouched, even by the Boston Celtics, who have 2 more championships than the Lakers. the . I am still a Lakers fan, and I live in NY. The Lakers have been a glamor team, every game they play is the hollywood showdown. The Clippers were newly hot last year, but the Lakers history is unmatched.As much as i like the warriors wasn't deron williams and dee brown amazing or what?

ARROGANCE. The Lakers have always been the most arrogant team in the NBA. The last few years they have had to swallow their pride... because they suck.It is refreshing to watch a great talented team play... one that is humble and proud.
