Who Thinks Dwayne Wade Is Becoming Washed Up Like Vince Carter?
Question:Who Thinks Dwayne Wade Is Becoming Washed Up Like Vince Carter?
Dwayne Wade has been nothing but amazing in his first 4 years in the NBA, just like Vince Carter use to be. Until his injury.
- Dwayne Wade poses the same threat, coming back from shoulder surgery could basically change his whole game, just like Vince Carter game was changed after his knee injury.
- We saw some glimpses of a less dynamic Wade late in the regular season and after his 1st round knock out by the Chicago Bulls.
- So this poses the question is Dwayne Wade becoming another spectacular player like Penny Haradaway, Vince Carter, and Chris Webber that becomes just a average player with an allstar name who becomes inconsistent, just makes a few amazing thing during the course of the season, and never will win unless he joins another great allstar team.
- IS Dwayne Wade becoming the Scrub aka VC, Webber, Penny?
Answers:
"little" romeo playin for usc? gimme a break..?
dont jump the gun. penny fell TOTALLY off the radar after surgery. webber thought he was still the man after his surgery (his stint in philly proved him wrong) and vince is still flashy but is still seem as a soft, injury prone player.wade is still young plus he's done something none of the mentioned players has done: win a championship. (even if webber wins one with detroit, he is not the main guy like wade was)
I doubt it. You can't make a judgement like that until next season after he's had a chance to heal from the offseason surguries. Anyone who says anything different is jumping to conclusions.
Realistically, who is the better player and worth more to his team, Kobe or Lebron?
No, because he just got injured we would need to wait 4 years to see if this is true. And the difference between wade and all those other guys is that wade has won it all so he will never be a scrub like those guys. Give him a chance he just got back from a dislocated shoulder, don't jump to conclusions. Is this going to be another Sam Bowie, MJ situation?
ABSOLUTLY NOT. oh my gosh, the guy comes back from a serious shoulder injury(probably way too soon), and plays very well considering the injury, and this happens?wade was just rusty i think, and you know what? he still played like an allstar!
imagine going out for 2months then getting thrown right in the playoffs as your teams #1 option, thats not easy...
hes not washed up and hes going to come back next season better than ever...
Worst/Best team name in the NBA?
I really like wade. (well who doesnt)but I think the only way to find out if you are right, is to wait till next season's playoffs or end of the year.
It could take him that long to fully get back to being the Flash.
He needs time to heal up and get reaquainted with the team.
I hope your not right for Wade's sake.
Have anyone ever won 4 NCAA titles?
no,I think he will become much better after surgery and rest. Wait till the next seasonWhy did Kobe make 50+ in 4 straight games but was not the mvp?
ur sick man!!!!! d.weezy is mayb the best in the league, he might be better than kobe, but he wasent 100% comin back from the injury, he was brave just being out there! Next year hopefully he will be back all the way, but his style of play does make him vunerable to injuries so mayb one day he could have a really bad oneHow good or even great will this suns vs spurs series will be?
give him time.he'll be back to his old self.wade is too young to be washed up like Vc or webber.look at amare stoudemire, he came back alright didn't he?? he just didn't shine like he used to when they won the rings but come on, be considerate.imagine playing with a dislocated shoulder that could crack anytime.that's not as easy as it looks.it took courage to even just play again instead of undergoing surgery already.most players would rather choose surgery.believe me.For all Toronto Raptor fans, how do U feel to see your team get knock out of the playoffs?
Dwyane Wade is awesome, but he could work a little on his defense and double his 3pt accuracy. I love his work ethic and attitude, and his willingness to work harder when Shaq was out. Shaq probably exaggerated his injury a little, like he sometimes does. But he's great anyways. He is the most resilient player in the league, alongside Kobe Bryant. Both players are able to play through debilitating injuries, illnesses that raise their temperatures to 104, and rude fans.
One thing I really worry about him is that he drives too hard. He needs to work on his outside shooting. Right now, he's a young, strong player, but that will change. His dislocated shoulder was a painful but critical lesson. He is overly reliant on his driving, and that will wear him down very much in the following years.
Once Wade polishes his shooting and is more conservative with his stamina, he will be great.
Will Shaq make the NBA All-Star team in the 2007-2008 season?
Vince Carter is 30Wade is 25
You cant call a player washed up at 30, let alone 25.
Predict any major offseason trades in the NBA?
I don't like Dwyane Wade at all, but he really is one of the best in the league when he's healthy. If he'd been 100%, the Heat still would've lost they just wouldn't have been swept. Now what he did in the NBA Finals was great but I don't think he'll ever have another performance like that and I don't think the Heat will get back to championship form unless they trade for some new guys. I think they should get rid of everyone except Posey, Wade, Shaq, Zo, Wright, and Haslem. The thing that sets D. Wade apart from Penny & Vince is that he's 25 and he's already got a ring..not only that, but he was named Finals MVP and that goes in the history booksWhere did all the Kobe hater's go?
he just came back from dislocating his shoulder you cant say that he's washed up because he rushed back without surgery and did'nt play amazing! What Team do you think will win the NBA Title?
iakny's right! is that how to spell that? hahaha...NEwaiz...Vince Carter isn't washed up...he's just expanding his playmaking skills...dunno bout Wade...rooted for him first three years...then it was like the publicity went to his head...but as a player...yea, cmon man...injury hurts everyone...give it time...look at amare stoudemire...unless you're a spurs fan...in which case.dont...nobody wanna hear itneither one is washed up. Let me see u go to the nba and average 20.0 points per game
