There are a lot of great college sports' teams out there, but don't you think that Louisville is in the top 5?

GOOD QUESTION!I think Louisville has a very good sports program. I'm not sure if they are in the Top 5? I'm thinking about this while I'm typing. I'm gonna Brainstorm:
1) Florida (National Champs in Basketball & Football)
2) Ohio State (Runners-up in both)
3) Texas (top 10 in both)
4) USC (Solid Programs)
5) Wisconsin (Top 10 in both)
There's my Top 5! I may be forgeting others! Also, I know that I only took Football and Basketball into account. They are the "Big Two" and they are what I am most familiar with! Louisville could be in the Top 10! Again, great question!

Louisville's basketball program has a lot of history and success. I'm not certain that it's even close to being a top five program, however. The top five basketball programs all-time has to include UCLA, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Indiana. Louisville, although it won some titles, has lacked the consistency which the top programs have. Duke's run over the last 20 years has been spectacular; Cincinnati's dominance prior to UCLA's string of titles was stellar. I'd be hard pressed to declare them the strongest program to ever be a member of the Missouri Valley - Cincy, Oklahoma State, Kansas?Doesn't Nelly remind you of another coach that had a falling out with his former team?
