Kobe Bryant or Lebron James?
Question:Personally, I think Lebron James is better becuase ever since lebron came out of high school his stats were better then kobes when he too came out of high school. Also you cant over look that Lebron is way younger then Kobe and has along way to go, by the time lebron reaches his peek i would say he"MIGHT" surpass MJ i cant be to sure though. Personally, i dont really like kobe cuz he has too much pride, then y do you think he changed his jersey number to 24 doesnt that reveal his ego just soo he can be better then MJ and is assuming that he is already the best there is? i maybe wrong but its my opinion. What do you ppl think?
P.S i have to admit, i do feel sorry for Lebron cuz he has to carry his whole entire team on his shoulders. i wish they can form a better team around him. time will tell i guess.

LeBron is a much better play maker and gives any team a chance to step their game up. he makes his team better, but he needs to step up his defense. He's a tremendous defender when he wants to be, but it's gotta be all game and not just the few times he does it. Still I'd take him over Kobe. This kid came outta high school and turned a team full of veterans into a playoff team.kobe
it depends on your point of view. if your talking about who has more skill and knowledge of the game then it's kobe. but if you are talkin raw god-given talent, then its lebron. offensively kobe has the edge because he can score at any given moment: from the 3, in the paint, and on the free throw line. Lebron still has trouble at the freethrow line. Hes like a 70% career freethrow shooter. if he wants to be the best he needs to make the easy ones. But when lebron is on the fast break, there is no stoppin the kid. hes like a freight train, if you get in his way your just another bump in the road. But when lebron wants to, he can b unstoppable when he goes for the dunk or layup. lebron has broken every record that kobe has put up for points over a career. Lebrons the quickest and youngest to reach 5,000 points. Other than offense, you cant really compare the 2. they are completely different position player.
and yes i already think that Lebron has past Jordan at this point of his career. A lot of people forget that Jordan was a ball hog the first 7 years in the NBA. Then he learned how to make his teamates better by playing team ball and won 6 titles. Lebron has already learned that idea of team basketball. Right now, Kobe is the best in the world. I give it 3 more years and King James will b the best player in the world.
Oh yeah and about the #24 on Kobe... It was his High School number and when he went to the nba they gave him the #8 he didnt pick it. its not to surpass jordan, did u know that jordan had the #45 also? If anything i would complain about Lebron copying Jordan with 23. Lebrons gonna b a ledgend when he retires, he shoulda picked his own number.

My opinion would be Kobe. He just finds a way to score. You can teach passing but you can't teach putting the ball in the hole with killer instincts. Kobe Bryant is a player with a very complete offensive game but however thats all he has.Kobe isnt a good rebounder,Kobe doesnt pass and he passes only when he wants too,think about it how many times have you seen Kobe pass out of a double team?He shoots over them and forces shots and those shots are jump shots which translate to long rebounds and fast break opportunities.When Kobe decides to pass,thats all he will ever do,pass the ball and attempt little shots like Game 2 against the Suns this year and Game 7 last year.Kobe is an overrated defender that couldnt shut anybody down and when he stresses too much on defense his offense suffers.Lets just face it Kobe hasnt made any of his teammates better,he hasnt lead his team to a championship or even a playoff series win!It was Shaq who lead them to 3 straight championships not Kobe.Kobe will never win a championship again if he doesnt surpass the "me" factor and become a true team player.Though lebron is younger and less experienced compared to kobe but i think he is a better player.He is more well rounded but still a bit unpolished.Lebron can rebound and pass the ball to his teammates way better than Kobe.Lebron can make impossible shots down the sretch and knows how to trust his teammates.All lebron needs is another scorer that can help him ease the scoring load.If that happens Lebron would win a championship!

Kobe wasn't, so it isn't a very good foundation of an argument on who was better between them during that age. As of now, Kobe is still the better ALL-AROUND player. LeBron wins more because he has a better supporting cast than Kobe.
