A month ago, I would've picked Utah. But they really faded down the stretch, and that's not a good sign. The Rockets are one of the hottest teams out there right now, and will be a tough out for even Dallas, San Antonio, or Phoenix. T-Mac and Yao look awfully good right now.I gotta go with the Spurs to win it all. Nobody is playing better right now. Dallas is going to struggle. The Warriors are going to give them a stiff test in the first round, which will damage the Mavs' confidence. Next up will be Houston, who will also play Dallas tough.
Don't count out the Heat. They are the defending champions, and they are healthy at the right time. Everyone seems to want to take Detroit in the East. Miami dominated them last year in the playoffs, and there is no reason they couldn't do it again.
Look for the Spurs and the Heat in the finals. Miami beat Dallas last year by creating doubt in the minds of the Mavericks' players. That is a lot less likely to happen with Tim Duncan. The Spurs are the better team. San Antonio 4-2.
