Should the Warriors trade Baron Davis?
Now before you throw up on your computer screen consider this: Baron is often injured and may never have a higher return value than he does right now. Plus the warriors have a young gun in monta ellis waiting to ake over

Any thoughts on Bryant's response about Barbosa?
ONLY IF Chris Mullin knows that Don Nelson is NOT going to come back, and he won't know that until 4th of July.Baron is ideal for Nellie's system as you saw after he came back from his knee injury.
Look for Baron, Steph Jax, and Harrington to be the most dangerous trio in the NBA next season, assuming Nellie comes back.
If Nellie were to leave, it would make sense to deal Baron as you could get maximum value for him now, but I think Nellie will coach one more year.
How many All Star Games do you think Carlos Boozer will be selected to the rest of his NBA career?
Hopefully they'll trade him to the Houston Rockets for one or two of our role players. We'd love to have Baron Davis on the Rockets.Who has the best chance of winning the NBA championship next year?
Yeah they should trade Davis. And while they do that, The Suns should trade Nash and the Mavs should trade Dirk. Heck, maybe the lakers should trade Kobe cause Smush is definitely on the rise... And since Daniel Gibson can hit shots, the Cavs should trade Lebron too.Which team is the best in the NBA?
Nope they shouldn't trade him. I don't think they would want to. Even though he was injured he got back playing real well in the last few games. Dunks, rebounds and everything. He'll get better and play even better. Your right, they also have monta ellis and he plays just like baron but needs to improve. But i don't think they should trade him. Monta still plays but the warriors need baron. And we love him and need him here in the Bay Area. =)
Being that Baron Davis has been often injured is one reason that another team will not be willing to get involved in that trade.
Also, Baron Davis is seen as the leader of the Warriors by not only the team but the fan base as well. If Davis were to be traded, it may kill any buzz that was built up by this recent playoff run.
Just my opinion
Who are the top 5 perimeter defenders at point guard in the NBA?
trading baron davis is like trading lebron james...when they're gone your team will SUCK!Is value there in baron at his age? It all comes down to who is willing to give the most. Mullin had better be 100% sure on the return of his investment
Why did the nba change a few years ago?
and give up the guy who can turn even more the franchise? i dont see that happeningDo u think that Dywane Wade still plays like he used 2?
No. Baron is the franchise player of the Warriors. You can't trade your franchise player. It would be like the Yankees trading Derek Jeter. The Warriors should give him rest during games to prevent injury so they need Sarunas Jasikevicius to provide solid minutes during his absence. I feel Monta is not comfortable at point guard and I prefer him at shooting guard.I do not think so he is the only player on the Warriors with any brains. Think about it he knows if he should shoot the 3 or take it to the hole everyone else on the team just gets the ball and shoots it (Jason Richardson, Stephen Jackson, Matt Barnes, Al Harrington, Mickael Pietrus) i mean don't get me wrong I like all those players they just dont know what to do with the ball. So i think the Warriors should stay with Baron Davis.
Is The NBA lottery system the best way for the league to determine the draft order?
One word...noWas Havlichek the best ball handler ever?
not yet...give him another season to see if he stays healthyDoes anyone know where I can purchase NBA personal Checks?
The Warrior's game revolves around Baron's plays. He's the reason why they made it as far as they did in the playoffs. Dealing Baron Davis means the Warriors will have to do major reshuffling of their roster, and judging from what they've achieved so far this season, I doubt that is what they want to be doing at the moment.Besides, Baron Davis easily rank amongst the top 5 point guards in the league right now. He contributes everywhere on the floor. Even if they can get a quality front court star plus one, they'll still have a massive task trying to replace him.
