How good was Laszo Papp as an professional?
i did not get it .....i know a fool and his money are soon parted......Why do boxers wear different colours of gloves?
Not at all that was a very good fight. would like to see a rematch so Mayweather can knock this has been out.I felt ripped off when De la Hoya lost against Trinidad back in '99. I haven't watched a fight since. If that wasn't proof that boxing is as fake as pro-wrestling I don't know what would be.
Where can I watch the De La Hoya fight in Denver?
well do you think we should give them a grammy both of them. i taugh that was a very good timed fight. the hits where timed the rounds where timed i think we should all give them a round of applause and a stading ovation for a good acting you this the are going hollywood now??wilwirelessDid anyone hear about the boxer who was killed in the bronx bar?
The hype was ridiculous; one fight is not going to save the sport. It didn't have the urgency late from the fighters, which was surprising. The rematch would not generate the interest because of the hype. But the price live or PPV isn't coming down if that would happen (I think both fighters are done, but that's one opinion).
UFC has surpassed boxing because of the action and - though it goes fast - you know as a fan that there isn't this running and hiding, retiring and unretiring found in boxing. Those guys come in to swing hard and boxing is playing catch-up in a marathon, and it's 3 miles behind.
Yo boxing fans.is www.Liverpuncher.com the best Fantasy Boxing site?
I would feel ripped off. But I was smart enough to wait for it to be on cable for free the following week. ;-)And I did not Mayweather to win either.
I WANT TO READ ABOUT THE FIGHTING GHOST / TRUE BOXING LEGEND IN THE cH'TOWN DAILY THE gUARDIAN?
only because the judges ripped off de la hoya again..Who would win if they would have fought?
the costs in Australia was AD$ 49.95 for the fight. A super fight between two talented champions and I know that the fight proved that it was money well spent. Instead of the costs to watch the overrated heavyweights you get value for money from two well proven champions. If Floyd were to fight a rematch or move up a division. I for one would like to see him do that. I didn't watch and pay for the fight this time and that was my mistake because I couldn't justify the costs.
His record is proven and I for one would like to see him fight more meaning opposition that would test his over abundant skills. Just like the super fight with Oscar his skills were tested and he came out with flying colours. I have no problem watching Floyd fight against another equally talented foe in a meaningful contest. No problem at all. I'll just watch it at a sports bar.
Joe Calzaghe is targeting Bernard Hopkins will this fight ever happen?
hell yes i feel ripped. although i thought mayweather was the clear cut winner, he did not live up to his trash talking hype. i feel better though since the first fight between ray bautista and the guy from argentina had a tremendous fight. it was back and forth, non stop, and really kept you on your toes. What does the ex-British boxing champ Dennis Andries do now ?
No. No one made any of us buy the fight. Styles make fights, and De La Hoya's and Mayweather's styles made for a boring fight. The way that Arturo Gatti's and Mayweather's styles made for an exciting fight.Who are the top 5 jabbers in history?
I do feel ripped off from the De La Hoya fight but I disagree with you on the UFC thing. We still have awesome fighters in boxing. And we have good fights coming up like Jermain Taylor vs. Cory Spinks, and Bernard Hopkins vs. Winky WrightWhat was the name of the German Boxer that Roy Jones refused to fight back in the early 2000's?
