Remember when boxing fans used to rap off about how a boxer could kick a martial artist's azz?
Do you think they finally shut their mouths because having seen MMA realize that a good MMA fighter could beat any boxer in the world? No wonder boxing is getting buried and considered boring

Ali the greatest boxer of all time?
I still think a boxer could kick a martial artist's azz. I've seen a lot of MMA matches that ended with a quick knockout punch. Plus there are a lot of MMA fighter that rely on throwing punches more than going to the ground. MMA has proved that throwing kicks is a mistake unless you're a master at it. A missed kick has gotten many a MMA fighter knocked out! So a person who has a strong background in boxing has good shot if they can avoid being taken down. A boxer that can wrestle to me is the ideal combination. That being said, what MMA has proved is that most Martial Arts (Karate, Tae Kwon Do, etc) are useless in a practical situation. A guy that says he knows Karate going against a guy that can box and I guarantee the boxer knocks him out 7 out of 10 times.More Questions & Answers...
