Could the darkhorse guy to beat Mayweather be Joshua Clottey?
I know everyone talks about all the names like Oscar, Shane, Cotto, Hatton, Margarito, Williams, etc, but could Joshua Clottey be the one to provide Floyd with his most dangerous challenge? Clottey seems to have Mayweather-type skills but hits harder and is stronger, but he has a good defense and a quick left hook somewhat like Floyd. Could he be the sleeper that everyone is overlooking?

Where we can view the Pacquiao-Solis fight online which is absolutely free?
you do have a great point with clottey.my two favorites that i'd like to seem him fight is:
Cotto and hatton.
i think cotto could pick him apart to be honest. cotto is fast and has a lot of power for his size.
mayweather (i believe) could beat margarito and williams.
we may never know is mayweather decides to continute with his retirement. he announced it today as being official but you never know.
idk if hell beat mayweather but clottey is nasty ive seen him fight
The blogbaba is of the opinion that Floyd is out of his comfort zone at 154 and would best be served by returning to 147. I gotta hand it to you Cool Breeze, Clottey/Mayweather would be a very difficult fight for Floyd. Clottey had the speed to make Corrales appear ordinary, so it would be very interesting to see how Floyd matched up with him. I think Clottey might just upset Mayweather. I also think Shane would be too much for Floyd. Of the fighters you mentioned in your question, all but Hatton would be very dangerous if Floyd stays at 154. I don't feel Hatton will get past Castillo, but maybe Ricky will suprise me. Great question.
Does anyone no where Mike Tyson lives at the minute?
Clottey could pose a threat and it would be a great fight but it will never happen. Its an all risk and no reward fight for PBF. At this point Mayweather is looking for only big money, big name fights and only hard core fight fans know who Clottey is. A casual boxing fan has no idea who he is.Clottey did look great against Diego Corrales and a fight with PBF would be an interesting matchup.
Clottey has been very impressive. He has great offense and defense. However a fight with Mayweather would be much different from Margarito or Corrales. Both of whom fought straight at him. I don't know how he would behave against Floyd's style, but since he has been pretty smart in the ring so far, I think he would find a way to get to him.
He's the only boxer I've seen with enough speed to possibly give Floyd trouble in the middle of the ring. Also, I think he could do what Oscar did, but at the same time land more offense and sustain it better. Oscar had a winning game plan, but he got tired.
Clottey has the necessary skills for sure. It's just a question of if he's smart enough to do it or not, and I think he is.
Why do boxers have small brains?
I'd rather see Mosley get at shot Pretty Boy before Clottey. Come on, Clottey beat a shot Diego Corrales fighting at Welterweight for the 1st time. We all know that the 1st fight with Castillo has ruined Corrales, he just hasn't been the same since. When Clottey beats someone like Paul Williams or Collazo then he deserves a title shot.Boxing needs top fighters in the ring against one another, Mayweather/Clottey won't bring casual fans to the TV, Mosley/Mayweather would.
