Who wins Prime Hagler V Hopkins?
I think it is almost impossible to go against Bernard these days. Maybe he will slow down a bit by 50. I actually think the time off will help him a little and he will be even more focused and healthier at a higher weight while Winky will struggle at the high weight and become a bit sluggish in the later rounds where Hopkins does his magic. Wright will be knocked down late but will still finish the fight but the decision will have to go to Bernard who has shown that he is exceptional against south paws which is part of the reason Bernard took this fight (the other being the pay day of course :o) )I don't think it is a bad decision for Bernard, I think he protects himself well and hasn't really had a lot of brawls like some fighters. Arturo Ghatti on the other hand should retire but he is scheduled to fight later this year as well.
Oscar DeLaHoya will make a nice lil piece of change...and all the Golden boy fighters (Hop, Shane, others) will squeeze til theres not a drop of juice left
In the Tunney vs Dempsey boxing fight in the early 1900s how did that have a social impact?
This is going to be a good fight. A real tough one to call, but if I had to pick, I would say Hopkins. Both are smart fighters, But Hopkins can get rough and has more power. I thought Taylor roughed up winky. I tought winky lost that fight.Ezzard Charles vs Evander Holyfield. Who wins?
I predict the Executioner to win by decision. The fight will be all defense on both sides Count on Bhop to be more of the aggressor though.Who was the winner of de la hoya vs. mayweather who won for the boxing match?
One question I have is what weight will the fight be at. That holds a lot of weight (no pun intended) in my decision. If Hopkins tryies to drop weight, I predict trouble for him. I don't see Winky struggling too much to come up in weight. At light heavyweight, I'll go wiht Bernard, but it is going to be a close one. If Hopkins drops weight, I think he'll lose. He's a natural light heavy, and should stay there now that he's up that high.More Questions & Answers...
