Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has been on the upsurge recently in terms of widespread popularity and money making capacity. Not many people on the street know or even care who the boxing champions are anymore ever since stars like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield left the game. Something has to be done in order for the sport of boxing to win back popularity and respect.

I don't think boxing can do anything to regain its popularity! Once I started watching the UFC and Pride Fighting, I never looked back. Who wants to watch 12 rounds of out of shape old guys hugging each other? Mixed martial Arts fighters are true athletes who enter the Octagon and put everything on the line - every time.
