Who would win in a street fight. Rocky Marciano or Muhammad Ali ?

Answers:

Are you tired of all the, where can i watch the de la hoya fight questions?

Good fight, although I don't think it would last more than 5 rounds either way. Ali is very elusive. While Marciano is a straight forward bulldog fighter. Either could win. But I would put money on Ali. Marciano could sneak in a power shot for the KO, but that is not likely. At the same time I wouldn't say it couldn't happen.

Batman v. Spiderman at 190 lbs, who wins?

Muhammad Ali can hardly walk because of his Parkinson's Disease.

Will there be a "Contender 3"?

Marciano. No contest.

What you lot think of Amar Khan?

Ali, definitely.
Rocky Marciano has been dead for 38 years and is not at the top of his game.
Muhammed Ali may have Parkinson's and brain damage and Alzheimer's, but at least he can still "Shuffle Like a Granny, Sting Like a Catheter."

Where can I find info on an old boxer by the name of Roy Mitchell? He boxed in the 20's?

The one that floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. Ali is the champ, Marciano is the chump.

How did Carlos Padilla get to referee so many big fights?

depends what year, but I'd bet on Ali.even though my real name is Rocky

Please can someone with pay per view give me an ongoing update on the UFC Hughes vs Penn fight?

Well, seeing as Marciano is now under the ground in a coffin, i don't really think that there's that much contest. But if you speaking about them whilst they where at their peaks then Ali would break him like a twig.

"Dream bout", Brock vs. Wladimir Klitshko 2, who wins?

Some unexpectedly funny answers to this question. Very witty ladies and gents!

Anyway, hard to answer because who really knows how good at streetfighting either one was? Over all heavyweight champs I'd take Sonny Liston simply because he has a known record as a street/alley/prison brawler who regularly ko'd the toughest of the tough in any situation. Even Ali admits to having been frightened of him*

Tom Sharkey was another alley fighter whom I'd take over many champs. He fought constantly in the streets of his native Ireland as well as in every port-of-call during his stint with the Navy. He would literally walk right up to people and ask if they were up for a fight. If they said "no" he would politely walk away and ask somebody else. What is it with the Irish and their love of battle?*L*

Do you think Rocky 6 is set up with "open" ending that leads into 7? I could see that, would you watch 7?

Ali is not much of a fighter these days because he's afflicted with a desease and Marciano ain't much of a fighter either because of his death.

How hard do you have to punch?

Why in a street fight? They were bith boxers, why not just ask that? If we are talking a one-on-one street fight with a lot of space, than Ali boxes circles around him just like he would in a ring. If we are talking a spur-of-the-moment bar fight, probably Rocky.

Thomas Hearns Vs. John "The Beast" Mugabi, who wins? (at 154)?

They are/were both gentlemen, they wouldn't be in a street fight. Especially against each other. How would we know what these 2 boxers fight like on the street anyway?

Alexis Arguello vs. Carlos Ortiz who wins?

Rocky, unless Ali could dodge him like he did the draft.I don't think he would be able to though
