Do you guys think that what mayweather wore was way out of line?
Ok when i saw mayweather i could not believe that he would wear mexican colors. I as a mexican took that very offencive, i htink he had no right to be wearing those colors. I believe he was trying to mock are colors. ( i don;t know if i make any scence, but does anyone feel the same?)

I feel the same way. I am not mexican, but I have friends who are mexican and I thought what Mayweather did was tasteless and childish. Yes, there is trash talking and intimidation tactics in boxing, but, for me, his actions are in the same category as Mike Tyson telling Lennox Lewis that he would eat his children (or something along those lines).Floyd Mayweather vs Thomas Hearns?
i think it was part of his strategy to rattle oscar. i also think it was hilarious, because two of my friends that i watched the fight with are mexican. they were laughing too. they said oscar should have gotten gold teeth and brought KFC to the ring. we have a diverse group of friends: blacks, whites, mexicans, filipinos, dominicans... we were all watching the fight together and we were all ribbing on one another, but as friends. don't take it too seriously, it was just part of mayweather's tactics to get to oscar.Maybe a little out of line. But Mayweather had enough respect for oscar to be afraid of him in the ring. So to get into his head he wore the mexican colors. Or maybe he was celebrating. Either way, you shouldn't be offended. He does not hate mexicans. He may have a big mouth, maybe very cocky, but he does have a lot of respect for De la Hoya! He said you have to beat the best to be the best. What is he saying? I'll tell you. He's saying that in his eyes Oscars the best! Well, was the best! :)

I feel it was a jab at De La Hoya, not Mexicans. So what? I was at a Mexican bar watching it. I am not Mexican, but almost everyone there laughed. He was clowning, don't take it so personally. If he had an anti Mexican theme, then I'd agree. But De La Hoya used to come out in the sombraro and the colors, Floyd was mocking one man, not a nation. Floyd loves to mess with people.
