If pacquiao and mayweather is on the same weight level, who will win?

I would say the reason is that everybody from the networks to the cable companies , AND the managers all have their hands in the till looking for their share. The only ones being shafted are the boxers themselves with receivivng a drop in the bucket compared to these people.

i think it's because of the cage fighting now that it's no longer illegal and now it's on cable... and boxing is not barbaric it is a show of skill and heart if u do not know about boxing then don't put in your opinion. thank u.

I want a real poll from boxing fans?

Boxing is not a barbaric sport, its a sport in which it showcases your talent, skills, and will in the most prestigeous way. In basketball you can go 0-10 from the field, and in football you can drop 10 passes and your team can still win. In boxing, its you, and only you. You fight for yourself, and win for yourself. Its the most pure sport, and those ignorant of it should not post their rediculous, ill-informed opinions.
Also, to the idiot that said most boxing fights are fixed, 99.9999999 % of boxing fights are not fixed. I mean, why would you completly lie and make something up and say 'most boxing fights are fixed'? What kind of asshole are you?

Who has the most annoying voice on TV?

No disrespect, but it's a ridiculous question and the statement beneath it is even more absurd.

There's no nice way of saying that, so I expect some 'bad answers, but the sport brings in a fantastic amount of money and the majority of the money comes from the spectators.

I guess we'll see in May whether or not the Mayweather/De La Hoya fight breaks the record for the number of buys, but currently it's a likely possibility. As a result, to say the sport is dying is wrong.

It's a shame the heavyweight division is in the state it is, but over the years it's not been about the bigger guys. A big part of that decline is due to bouts being dictated by management and TV stations. The number of sanctioning bodies doesn't help either.

My take on this dispute over "The Fight"?

Because there is so much more entertainment value and excitement in MMA I especially think UFC sets the pace in this amazing sport...and you do remember Rome's definition of a sport...if not it states " Any activity you can do while smoking and/or drinking a beer is NOT a sport"

Who is the greatest boxer of all time?

Too many titles, too many promoters convincing their fighters not to unify the championships. Lack of Heavy Weights.

But, the lack of heavyweights is forcing those with a more casual interest in the sport to look at other weight classes. Which is good for the sport.

Boxers like Paquiao, Cotto, and Calzaghe are drawing interest in fights at lower weights. But PBF v Baldomir and Wright v Quartey or even Taylor v Ouma from last night make the sport boring to watch. We want to see knockdowns!
