Always keep your chin down, hands up, don't back up in a straight line when pressured, use lateral movement and everything works off the jab. Use a straight right against southpaws, never hook a hooker and above all PROTECT yourself at all times! What is the phone number for tonights fight Oscar and Floyd Mayweather?
Train hard and explosively! Boxing is about speed and being explosive, don't listen to the guys who say they trained for 3/4 hours, do 1 hour max at high intensity, working in rounds in various exercises both boxing and plyometrics. Finish twice a week on burnout circuits, 3 times when competing. Do same runs twice per week that 200/400 metre runners do - explosive! As per skill - follow the basics. get the jab going, work everything off it. keep form, elbows in, practise footwork and hard punching comes from explosive movements of hips and shoulders, not just arms!
think i overdid the "explosive" word lol
Conditioning is the key to your success.Build your wind up by sprinting for 40 yards in 30 sec intervals jumping rope in between sprints. twice a wk should be good til you feel you can go more. Remember being a lazy boxer could cost you your life. Get to where you know you've done all you could to be prepared for your next fight.your greatest opponent will face you every time you look in the mirror. You beat him then you have a fighting chance.

keep training. have good form dont be TOO tense. be lose relax so u wont get so tired easily. keep your guard up. always look at ur opponent. try to parry your shots but dont overexaggerate your parries just give them a little tap. tuck your chin. work on your footwork. stay hydrated (1gallon of water) about an hour or a half prior to a fight/training. try to work more on speed and accuracy.just a few things my 2 trainers tell me. hope it helps.
