Anyone know about boxing?
K, so I'm getting really pissed cause every time I watch Muhhamud Ali (sp?) All i ever see him do is put his arm over the other guy's head and stand there. He does it non-stop! Is this a cheap shot, cause I never see anyone else do it. Maybe I'm just being picky or something...can anyone clear this up?

Ali was exceptionally gifted in the art of "hitting without being hit", the best way to achieve this is to use your advantage in "reach" (taken on a case by case basis). Ali had an 80 inch reach which was most often better than his opposition. Range finding via a solid jab to hurt, a "pawing" jab to measure distance to opponent, or as in your question just putting the arm out (also for distance acknowledgment) is a basic skill every fighter develops (at least I hope they'd be smart enough to). As mentioned prior, Ali also did it to annoy and get into the head of his adversary. I wouldn't view it as a "cheap shot" especially when you state its "over" the head and not actually landing (even though landing or not its still legal).
