At 323 lbs I think Valuev is the heaviest. Blogbaba as seen a couple guys push the three hundred pound mark, but none heavier than Valuev with a title. No clue who the biggest to ever step into the ring was.Eric Esch is over 400 lbs, so he's definately up there with the heaviest.

I know what you are talking about. I don't think that it's a rumor, though. According to records, there has been a heavyweight amateur who weighed at exactly 450 pounds. That's not the shocker,though. It was said that he stood at around 7'8". They never allowed him to enter professional boxing because of his physical anomaly. I forgot his name, though.
