yeah you can...but why would you, EVERY Rocky movie is great (with the exception of Rocky V) Each movie gives you a brief glimpse of what happened in the last one, but its like reading the back of the book and then starting to read it in the middle, why would you do that? Start from the beginning and the entire experiance will be better

Well, the beginning of every Rocky movie up until the last one shows the end of the last Rocky, so you will see how Rocky 2 ended in the beginning of Rocky 3. If you skip the first 2 minutes you should be fine, but if I recall there are some references to events that happened in the first 2 throughout the movie.
