Where can I watch the De La Hoya / Mayweather Boxing fight near High Point, NC?
Great question sir. Here are my picks:Bob Foster is a tall rangy lightheavyweight with dynamite in his fists. I rank him behind only Archie Moore as the greatet lightheavy of all time. Jones has great speed but a suspect chin. Foster by 9th round kayo.
Michael Spinks had that great Spinks Jinx right hand and in my opinion the 3rd greatest lightheavy of all time. He was also an outstanding boxer. In a tough fight I have Spinks winning the decision.
I rank Hagler as the 2nd greatest middleweight in history (tied with Monzon) behind only Sugar Ray Robinson. At middleweight is where Jones is at his best and has tremendous speed. Hagler has an iron jaw and great determination. I believe that Hagler would pressure Jones and catch Jones in about round 11 for a technical knockout.
I think Roy would beat them all
My girlfriends and I want to see the boxing match can anyone recomend a nice place in miami to go?
Foster over Jones Jr. by split decision or late round KO. Jones' chin as we all know now is suspect Foster has the decided height reach advantage and the advantage in power.Jones beats Spinks by decision in a boring fight were both fighters wait for the other to lead so they can counter.
Can't go against Hagler. I don't see Roy trying to mix it up with Marvin. Hagler wins a split decision because of effective aggression.
Bluedevil called it perfectly. Couldn't have said it better. Though I think Roy could possibly have been slick enough to avoid the "Spinks Jinx" and win a decision over Michael.
Where can i get a good kickboxing wallpaper for my pc?
The blogbaba has to give bluedevil a thumbs up, Douglas is right, blue called it perfectly, the blogbaba agrees and can't improve on bluedevils answer either. Great question, and great analysis by both bluedevil and Brent.Nicholay Valuev lost after 46 win in a row?
Good one Nate, My opinion,Jones ko's Foster late rounds
Spinks ud or late ko over Jones
Jones by ud over Hagler simply because u cant beat what u cant hit.
p.s. I had to pull out my old fight tapes to make my pics. good matchups and it was hard to pick.
What has happened to teddy atlas' face??
The only answer I would amend on Blue Devils list would be Roy Jones versus Marvin Hagler. Ill use one of Marvin's fights to illustrate my point. When Marvin fought Sugar Ray Leonard...despite that everyone believed that Hagler won that fight on effective aggression...I have to say that Hagler was considerably slower than Leonard..and Leonard, even as a welter...didnt have one punch knockout power. He beat you on numerous hits over time. That kind of power was non existant as a middle...and he truly bothered Hagler. Hagler was bothered by SRL's speed.
Roy Jones would be a different story. Roy Jones' speed CAUSED him to hit harder than most. He stopped a fight by which one punch broke a rib. And its really a simple punch that he threw. RJJ had tremendous power as a middle.
Giftwise, RJJ was one of boxing's most physically gifted boxer (not best trained...just born with more gifts that most). If Roy Jones hit Hagler with HALF of what SRL hit him with...he would have crippled him.
Marvin likely would be in one of those situations where his anger at not being able to stop him would cause him to be more aggresive...and he would likely get stopped.
