Who is the most underrated fighter you have seen?

Question:My vote is for Julian Jackson.

For the first 10/11 years of his career he was a knockout machine. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone at 154-160 more heavy handed. At one point around 1993 he was 42-1 with 40 knockouts and a two division champion. Only a prime Mike McCallum beat him, and that was a war.

I think if Don King had bothered to market him, he would have had a superstar. Even if he lost a few fights, he hit so hard it would have made a lot of money. Especially in an era where USA Networks had boxing and the networks still showed a fight or two on occasion.

Herol Graham was vastly underrated by many people he came along during a golden period for british middleweight fighters there was Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Micheal Watson, Steve Collins and a couple of others. He was british champion when they were all on the way up, they all side steped him and basically avoided him like the plague. He was long overdue a world title shot when he finally got one against Mike McCallum which he lost on points he would have won had he not got two points deducted threw his own fault. He later lost in a WBC title fight to Julian Jackson after boxing his head off for four rouneds Jackson caught him with a chilling right which he had not a chance in hell from getting up from. As you are a Jackson fan you have probably seen that fight and i agree that jackson was underrated, but was more respected due to being a double world champion. I feel Herol Graham never got the respect he deserved and is the most underrated fighter i have seen.

Kastazu- he's a virtual unknown out of Kazakstan or something, but he's an incredibly formidible fighter. He's been referenced countless times by Larry Merchant and the gang in terms of others fighters potential. He's definitely going to be heard from again soon.

What about Gerald McClellan? He was a hard hitting boxer/puncher. He knocked out Julian Jackson twice. I must say he is very underrated, due to the fact his career ended tragically and he has since been forgotten about. He definitely would have been a terror at 160 & 168lb divisions.

Mary Jo Sanders or Laila Ali?

Winky Wright, he's boring as hell but he's the best defensive fighter in the game. Yes, he's better defensively than Pretty Boy. If Winky scores a win over Hopkins in July at some point people have to put Winky in the conversation as one of the best fighters of this generation. That's not saying much considering the state boxing is currently in.
