Even you can also start a league.But what we need is players who have the integration and sportiness.Until the players change their attitude, no body can help our cricket.It is a good idea. It is only certain turmoil arises, some good things will result. I wish this will lead to some professionalism and the emergence of true talents.

20-20 does not seem like a good beginning. The objective of this league does not mean to improve bench strength but it wants it to be a comemercial success. Zee has cashed in the gloomy days settled at present for indian cricket.
It's Zee's way of taking BCCI, for all those TV right mess they had earlier. It sounds rubbish to me. what is the criteria for the players getting selected? Who is the selection committe?
It may even be like a new way of minting money with the name of cricket. I hope it won't be a overdose for the players who already have a jam-packed schedule.
The Tournaments by BCCI runs from oct to april, so zee can take over from may to sep so this way domestic players are always busy and the cricket system works in conjunction with each other and it will do good to indian cricket. Right now players sit idle from 5 months and donot earn anything, this will help players to take cricket as full fledged profession and they need not worry about job/money from other jobs and they can just concentrate on cricket..i am talking about junior upcoming cricketes not the international ones ...

It can be beneficial to a certain extent. It will definitely throw up many new faces. 20-20 cricket is one of the formats, which will make 20-20 more popular in India.But there are flaws also. It will make cricket a much more competetive business considering the sponsors and the money involved. The BCCI has already made the cricketing business much competitive and this league has the potential to do so even more.
However I do not think that this league will have the full support of the BCCI, at least not in the begining. The BCCI owns almost all the grounds in India and it is not likely to give up on this, unless of course there is large moey involved. Also huge infrastructure will be required to run this league which will require much more than 100 crores which the group is investing.

The Indian Cricket League (ICL) proposed to be set up Essel Group will defenitely help Indian cricket as promising talented youngsters will come into limelight through this league and such deserving players can be inducted into Indian Team gradually thereby paving way to strengthen the Indian Team.
