Australia have just completed a hattrick of victories winning the WC2007 in four final appearances. Australia don't depend on a few players to click all the time whereas Indian team always looks to particular players to clock always.So far Australia havewon World Cup 4 times, West Indies 2times.India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan one time each.

Well my friend you are a bit out of date. India exited after the first round and Australia went on to win the Cup undefeated and unchallenged.Australia has won the Cup 4 times. These being 1987 then 1999,2003 and now 2007. The first country to win a "hat trick " of World Cups.
India has won it once in 1983.
The difference I feel is that India suffers from rampant corruption, the team is not selected on merit. Whereas the Australian group are merciless in selection criteria. No sentiment is allowed, you perform or you don't get into the side.

Once the Indians realise it takes 11 players performing reasonably consistently to win a World Cup, then they'll be a dangerous team to beat.
