What was the turning point in today's AUS vs SA match?
Question:I thought the injury to Graeme Smith was the turning point in today's game. Had he been fit and continued on for many more overs, SA would have had a good chance of victory. But I also have to say that Gibbs and Kallis played like crap - they are very experienced players, but they should be knowing the basic thing about one-day cricket is that when you're chasing, you have to keep the momentum sustained & you cannot afford to relax at any point. But they still decided to slow down a little bit - which turned out to be a costly mistake.

I did`nt see the game, but looking at the scores, I would say that when Australia posted a score of 377, that was match over. Hard to see anyone beating them.How much sixes hit in 2007 cricket world cup till 12 april?

I think the part where AB de villers was run out due to a freak act of nature was the turning point, and of course the uncalled injury of greame smith also killed the momentum of the proteas. I just don't know as good as their batting line up is, unless their bowling steps up, they are doomed. Think about it : every time aus and Sa play, the aussie batsmen make South African bowling look like a laughing stock. I wouldn't go as far as calling the proteas chokers (they are my favorite team after all) but I do strongly believe that their luck is worse than my face when it comes to wining big matches... thank god at least they still have another shot.

south africa where never going to win, graeme smith spends to much time worrying about making sure he tells people how good his team is and how there better than australia. they where over confident and thought the johanesberg match was going to repeat itself. 377 is a huge score, no matter how small the ground was or how flat the pitch was. they were comprehensivly beaten by the better sideWhat skills make Australia unbeatable?

for about half the match we were winning, then when devilliers got out no biggy it happened to australia as well.then the injurt to smith that slowed down our momentum if it werent for that we would have had an excellent match.also kallis gibbs kemp boucher and pollock never give a care.and i cant expect anything from prince because hes a lost cause.But we are still in it so we should just train harder and we can win it
