Well, it's gonna be quite tough world cup for each and every team this time, with South Africa appearing as clear favorites at this time. Still no one can predict anything about cricket. At the end of the day its only the best team will emerge as winner.Considering present SL team, they have all the elements to win the world cup, its just a matter of doing things at right time. Sanath-Tharanga has great potential as openers, no doubt about it as they both chaised 324 in just 37 Overs in England few months back. With this amazing form Sangakkara in, it would be a belising fro SL. They need good middle order batters like Silva, Dilshan, Arnold to perform well. And need Atapattu and Jayawardana with runs.
With Bowling, Vass and Malinga is great pair. Slinger Malinga was very effective in death overs as we saw. And Murali-Bandara-Sanath would make the best ODI spin attack available today.
they have all the tings they need, just a matter of getting those performances at right time. All i can say at this time, its not the Aussies gonna lift the cup this time.
