Are there so many damn commercials on European tv during the TDF?

It seems like OLN can't show more than 5 minutes of the race at a time during the middle of a stage, I'm getting sick of it.

Same reason there are so many commercials on the US networks during big games. that's how the network earns its money...

I know it sucks, but the only suggestion is that you Tivo the TDF and skip the ads...
