Will Lance Armstrong ever compete in an Ironman?
your best bet is to bring it back to whatever store you bought it (assuming you bought it new). almost everyone that sells bikes will have some kind of warranty that gives a free tune up after so many days.you should be a bit more specific too - rim, disc, mechanical, or hydraulic brakes. they all work differently.
I would take it to where you bought it so it can be done professionally (and free since it's new). BUt if you must do it yourself there is a small down near the brake caliper and you can loosen it slightly and pull the cable tighter, then re-tighten the screw.
Where can i find a good pocket bike?
Use a brake clamp to hold the pads against the rims, take up the excessive cable length. The brake clamp should be part of the tool kit that comes with the bicycle.More Questions & Answers...
