3 speed internal hub?
Question:I just bought a bike with a 3 speed internal hub. I have never had an internal hub bike before. I have noticed that sometimes the bike feels like it is jumping back and forth between 1st and 2nd gear on its own, much like an externally geared bike will do. Is that possible on an internal hub or do I need an adjustment. It does seem to happen mostly on slight inclines or dips.

Yes, you need a cable adjustment...Depending on the model of the hub, there is a little window or a line on the actuator that is screwed onto the rear axle. This window (or line) usually shows where the actuator should be in 2nd gear. Simply tighten or loosen the cable until the mark lines up.
Make sure that you STOP pedalling when shifting, and that the hub remains well lubricated with light MACHINE oil (not motor oil or 3 in 1 or WD40)... you can use sewing machine oil that is readily available from just about anywhere if you can't find machine oil.
I have a Haro v1 (truly bad ***) is there anybody out there who has a bike like mine please answer?
It needs adjustment (cable tension). The first thing you have to make sure is that the chain is properly tensioned. Then if still doing it try tightening the cable a little from the adjuster by the connection to the axle. When it slips from 1 to 2 it usually means the cable is loose. Also make sure any of the clamps and guides/stops along the frame for the cable are tight because if they slip as you shift gears it will cause the cable to loosen. Drop some light oil into the hub as well.About how much money does it take to sponsor a team in the Tour de France?
if you bought it new from one of the shops take it back to them and make them adjust it and ask for your money back if they wont fix it it was made in china so they are making a killing just selling the thing.More Questions & Answers...
