1989 GT Performer Bike - Value?
Question:Anyone have an idea how I can find the value of my 1989 GT Peformer? I'd like to sell it and have seen a range of values. It would rate the condition as "Fair"

It's easier if the buyers can see a picture of the bike. Don't forget to include the type of accessories the bike has(if any).What happens when you switch into a higher gear on a bicycle?
Best thing to do is either put it up on Ebay and see what happens, or check Ebay for completed items when you search for GT Performer. I think you might get $100-$125 for it maybe on Ebay. I used to have a Kuwahara 1987 Magician and it was going for about $130 on Ebay. Or maybe you can pump up the tires and take it off some sweet ramps!!I have granddaughter 4 months old. Is there a proper, safe, bike helmet for this age?
Remember, this bike is 17 years old.From experience, I think the value is approaching zero. It is way too new to be a classic and way too old as far as technology.
You may be able to put it in the paper and get $25 or so, but I wouldn't expect much more.
