17.5" Bicycle - Will it fit in the back of my '05 Ford Explorer?


I am picking up a new bicycle today, a 17.5" Gary Fisher Marlin. Will it fit in the back of my '05 Ford Explorer?

Abolutely, you will not have a problem bringing your bike home. It hsould fit with the wheels on. However if not, this bike has two quick release wheels that can be easily removed and remounted. Be sure to ask the shop to demonstrate if you have never used these before.

How accurrate is the milage counter on an exercise bike?

It should but why don't you get a measuring tape and measure your Explorer first to find out.

How much to ship a bike across the country?

Get out a tape measure and measure it. 17 and a half foot bike sounds pretty big. Must be a two seat`r. If you have a luggage rack tie it to the roof.

If you took the wheels off it could fit into the backseat of a car. So it should fit into your explorer

yep, no problem. I had a Explorer Sport wich was shorter and a XL bike fit with both wheels on, just move the rear seats down and no prob!

i dont know, u might need to get a bigger vehicle, like say a Hummer or a tank or something...or bigger, heck just get real big hellicopter!
