'07 Raleigh Mojave 8.0 vs '07 Specialized Hardrock comp disc?
Question:I'm looking to buy a new bike. A bike to ride from place to place every day, but on the weekends, breaks, and all summer do some easy to medium off-roading. More xc than downhill. Bikes are about the same price and weight. Planning on keeping my bike for a while while i get more into biking. I wanted a bike for my riding purposes mentioned above, with dic brakes (either hydrolic or mechanical) and just front suspension (with rebound adjust, preferably lockout)- all under $700. Need comparison of the two bikes i mentioned. And any helpful sites that could providea sort of side-by-side comparison.

Generally, you'll find Raleigh and Diamondback have 1 level better component groups for the same money as Trek and Specialized.At this price most bikes are made in one of 3 factories regardless of name brand... one day they might be making Raleigh, the next day Specialized, the next day something else.
