I have a cannondale sport road 1000. what would be a good wheel upgrade?

What happened to George Hincapie's bike?
Your Cannondale (like my own Road 2000) should already be fitted with excellent Kysirium wheels. Unless you've damaged these, an upgrade seems a bit unnecessary. There are better wheels around, but they're really expensive and the performance gain will be marginal. If you need this edge change the bike! The Cannondale is good, but its getting on a bit now and there are better frames around.Do you think Floyd Landis Doped on Stage 17?
I would suggest a HED 4-spoke aero wheel. If you don't want to spend that much $, you could go with a flat spoked deep-dish wheel, such as a Shimano for considerably less jack than HED. The Ksyrium is a great training wheel and I would suggest keeping that wheel, if you can, to use in training, inclement weather, as an emergency backup, etc.If you want to stay with Mavic, try the Cosmo Carbone or a Ksyrium upgrade (ES is the top end.)
Good Luck.
How do i make my mountain bike go faster without changing any parts?
get one from cannondale directly, or go to a bike shop that sells the wheels your cannondale usesCan I ride every day if I do another sport 2 to 3 days a week?
It all depends on what type of riding you'll be doing. Are you racing? If so, what type (Crit RR, or TT)? Are there a lot of hills, or is it dead flat where you ride? The best set of wheels for you may not be the best set for me. And honestly, a $1500 set of wheels may look cooler than a cheaper set, but if you don't have the legs to turn the cranks, it won't matter.
Talk to your LBS they should have a better understanding of your needs.
