I want to be in league in which young stars are dropped! Please god find me a league full of idiots!
Pick him, but keep Freel, 36 sbs should be kept on your roster, drop a 5th starter or a bench guy.
Also post a note in the league thanking the guy that dropped him.
What do you think of this team and who should I cut??
no way. barfield is gonna be garbage all year. freel will come around and be a good hitter for avg. hang onto himIsn't doing crap? Don't base a season on 8 games, that's a common error in fantasy sports (EX. ALBERT PUJOLS awful start)---Barfield will see more pitches now that Victor Martinez is back in Cleveland's lineup. I was at Indians game yesterday and Barfield-besides the obvious Solo Shot to left---put some good wood on the ball--Barfield will give you 20-23 Hr 75-85 RBI by seasons end in that lineup. Unless you have an All-Star caliber 2nd baseman available (and I'm sure you don't)--stick it out-kids young, new league, new city...he'll do fine.
I'd probably pick up Barfield but hold onto Freel. Isn't there someone else you could drop. Remember Freel is eligible at 3B and the OF as well. He should get more AB this year than in the past and he's a good source of runs and steals. Of the two I prefer Freel.
Does anyone know some free fantasy sportbook site?
