I am in an 8 team keeper league and own the #6 pick in the rookie draft.?
2nd team is, and will be, better at the end of the year. Don't freak out about slow starts. The standings mean nothing before June 15th or even later. I would get rid of Sosa and try to trade Byrnes while he is hot to upgrade your OF though. Bonds may just play out the string after passing Aaron too, so if you can come up with 2 solid OF's, you'll be better off in the long run. I would definitely dump Sosa though, and one guy who may be available is Geoff Jenkins - he is starting well and has something to prove, and is in a strong lineup as well.Could use a closer...Soria or Matt Capps?

Team A has more speed, but Team B has much better power.I'd prefer team B.

You obviously have the better team straight up offensively. However you need to realize we are only two weeks into the season. Some of your players could be off to slow starts which will pick up steam as the season rolls on. Another thing you are not factoring in is the pitching situation. How do his pitchers compare to yours? If you have garbage pitching then there is a good chance your loosing on four stats to begin with which means if you are not dominating your others stats your in for a long hurtful season. Realistically it shouldn't take but a month (solely based on your offense) before all of your players are rolling and giving you the numbers to climb out of seventh.Team A is being carried right now by Ian Kinsler and Hanley Ramirez while team B's studs have been very quite so far this year. Give it time, the baseball world always starts out a little funky before righting itslef. Proven players will put up solid numbers before the year is up, so dont panic yet.
Team A probably had a favouroble matchup in the first week, and his players are hot right now. Your team will probably start dominating soon and have a higher standing then team A. Your team is clearly much better although I would trade for some cheap sb's like Pierre and Roberts.
It depends on your pitching (assuming you have pitchers in your league.) But team B is better offensively.
Team A's players are just off to a better start. I wouldn't worry about you not having a better ofense than team A because your team should hit more HRs and drive in more RBIs. Your lineup is driven by power and should be one of the better offenses in your league.
Like I said if your pitching is poor then you probably will finish around 6th or 7th in your league. It is key to have a balance of hitting and pitching in fantasy baseball.

My best advice is for you to keep the first team. It has mostly american leaguers on it. The American league always has better records than the Nationals in Fantasy. I know I hate it too, just the way it is. I am a Cardinals fan, and the only guy I have on my team from them is David Eckstein. Try and concentrate on your pitching staff mostly, because this is where you can lose points as well when they stink it up good. A poor pitching staff will cost you big time.
