You team has good overall average, Ichiro can only improve that, he'll add alot of runs and speed. Which you are lacking, aside from Roberts and Sizemore you're lacking overall team speed.
First I'd offer, Halladay for Kazmir instead, because Doc doesn't put up the K numbers that Carpenter does. Plus I'd much rather have Carp.
Then post on the leagues message board, that Carpenter is available for trade, try to land yourself someone like Carlos Beltran.

it really looks like you can use ichiro and its not a really lopsided trade. so i think you should go for it. the other 3 SPs are really good so i wouldnt worry about losing carp.i would u still have good pitchers

No, don't do this. Carpenter is the second best SP in fantasy baseball. The person giving you the trade is trying to rip you off. You can get a whole of lot better OF than Ichiro.When does Fantasy Baseball start this year for Yahoo?
i would keep chris carpenter, he's very good, the only better pitcher is johan santana while ichiro isnt all that great. your offense is pretty well off. Ichiro might score alot of runs depending on how sexson, ibanez and beltre do. unless you really wan the extra offense i would stick with carpenterI think you have enough fire power in the Starting Pitcher spot to make this trade, but see if you could possibly pick up a decent SP in the trade as well. As for your team, you have 3 Rockies players on your roster. I'm not sure if that's who you like, but that isn't a great strategy to go with in fantasy baseball. Atkins is great, and Hawpe is a good hitter, but Tulowitzki is young and hasn't proven himself yet. If the Rocks get shut down or have a bad week, that doesn't equal success for you. Maybe try to unload one of those guys in a deal for the same position or something, just a suggestion.
