I need to drop Butler fast but he's included in the can't cut list. argh! how long will this take?

Give it a couple days, I'm sure it'll change. I had Ray Allen in my league and was able to drop him last week after he was announced to be out for the year, and I know that Ray Allen was on the can't cut list before that. Good luck to you over the rest of the season!

When is the right time to drop the big names and add the guys who are getting it done?

If a player is on the can't cut list in a fantasy sports league, you can't cut them. Maybe you can trade them though? But if the player sucks (the only reason to get rid of a player), I doubt anyone is going to want to trade for him.

The can't cut list is the whole season. Package him with another player and trade him away is the only way to get rid of him.

Sometimes when a guy is out for months yahoo will take them off the list but it will be in the 2nd half.

Are these trades fair?

The league usually takes one or two days to figure out that their are injuries and no we would like to drop someone on the no drop list. I woud e-mail the help desk.
