Would you consider this a fair trade??
Question:I can't change it anymore because I already submitted it and the other guy accepted it. I just want to know whether I should have done it or not.
Consider this before you look at the trade:
My starting pitchers are:
Chris Carpenter and Johan Santana
And my outfield is:
Craig Monroe, Josh Willingham, and Ryan Freel (with Juan Rivera on DL)
The trade is:
I give away Roy Halladay and receive Torii Hunter.
As you can see from my roster, I need OF desperately. Also by the way Torii Hunter is sort of a power hitter and my best power hitter is JUSTIN MORNEAU so I need one!
And also my best SB guy would probably be Jeff Kent so Torii can get me a lot of SB's too because he is really fast.
As you can also see, I don't need any more starting pitchers. I have Johan Santana and chris Carpenter, with Dave Bush on the bench as a back-up.
SO WHAT DO YOU THINK??

i can see why the guy accepted. that was a horrible deal for you. i understand that you needed the OF and speed and i have no problem with you trading halladay. the problem i have is that you totally undersold roy. he is a top pitcher and torii is a slightly better than average OFer. you could have gotten a way better OFer for halladay, like sizemore or bay or ichiro. you might not need the extra pitching but you should have asked for more.What is wrong with the stattracker is anyone else having this problem?
I think you could have negotiated for better than Hunter. He is a bit injury prone too, but so is Halladay.You can still hope your league vetoes the trade.
BTW, Freel is a much better SB guy than Kent...

Its not a fair trade.Roy Halladay is a much better player.
You can get a much better player for Roy Halladay.
You could possibly get Vernon Wells for Roy Halladay.
You could ask people in your league to veto the trade. Or you can ask the commishioner to cancel the trade.
Seeing that the trade is extremely unfair, players in your league would probably veto it anyway.
Try picking up Corey Hart or Chris Young as outfielders.
There both solid and great prospects.
And also Ryan Freel is a great stolen base option ... and much better than Kent for stolen bases

I think the way your outield looks you should have gotten two OFs. But, decent ones. This trade is overall ok but, you let this guy take advantage of you. You made it look like you were desperate. Drop Ryan Freel and pickup Chris Duffy that should improve the OF. But, I think you could have also gotten a better OF than Tori Hunter. But, you needed OF, so you did the fastest thing possible.Fantasy football championship. Which D/ST should I start?

Your pitching staff is very good, so I think you can afford to give up Halladay.Make the trade.
Bad trade. Hunter is just plain not that good. You should have held out for a better outfielder, one who is at least a round higher in average pick position. Just because you don't think you NEED a good player doesn't mean you should go out and waste them getting a lesser player.

No, don't do it. Why? Because Halladay is better. Keeping Roy will lock up most of the pitching categories for you, while Hunter will give the dying man a sip of water. He won't be enough. If you need outfield here's what I'd do (if you have an open DL spot): Pick up Carlos Quentin, put him on the DL, then pick up luke scott to use until quentin recovers. actually it is what i did lol.Now..How's my Fantasy Hockey team?
sorry but you msut have had the worst draft. loading up the pitching is the wrost idea ever. trust me. I doubt ull finish higher than 5th. its hte brutal truth. that said, dont do it. even though halladay does not have the word strikeout in his vocabulary, hes good. and with johan and caprneter, you dont realy need poitching. however I would actually try to deal carpenter. hunter just isnt good enough. try maybe halladay for abreu or even caprenter for abreu. I really like abreu for this year. .300 100+ runs and ribbies with 30 steals and 20 homeruns. but if youre intent on trading halladay get someone like abreu if possible and if not then say ichiro, andruw jones depending whether you need power or steals. (theyre both in contract year too so another plus). heck johnny damon is better than hunter.More Questions & Answers...
