Waivers are what players that are dropped from a team go through before another team can pick them up. In most leagues it lasts two days.During the time that a player is on waivers, waiver claims can be submitted by any owner in the league except the dropping owner.
The claims that are submitted during the waiver period are evaluated soley on each teams waiver priority (you'll see this across from your team name on the League page) the better the priority (1 is the best) the better the chance that you get the player. At the start of the league, the player who drafted last has top waiver priority, and the player that drafted first has last. As waiver claims are processed, you move to the back of the waiver order.
This period also serves to help the owners who are not checking the waivers every day.
